“The Alibi Agency” is a one-hour rom com dramady TV series, a procedural serialized hybrid. It’s a smart and edgy con artist story that works like a detective series, but the other way around. The alibi agents create misdirection rather than uncovering it. So, unlike other TV series, it tells stories about lies, deceit, trust, honesty and love from a new point of view.
The TV series is set in an Alibi Agency that sells professional lies – from a little white lie to a permanent double life and everything in between. The story follows the compelling love-hate relationship between MARK, the smart and seemingly unethical owner of the Alibi Agency and his newest agent LINDA, a totally honest and moral person, who starts to work there undercover to seek revenge on him.
The series asks in every episode the dramatic question: Is there any good in lies?
